Your satisfaction is our goal. With that in mind, Officepenny.com will accept returns for any unopened, unused product within 20 days of your order. It is important that all original packaging be included to qualify for a refund. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
There are some items, which do not qualify for refunds. They are assembled or installed furniture, food/beverages, custom orders and medicines such as aspirin.

Important: We must have the following information to complete your Return Authorization:
- Order Number
- Item/Item number of the product(s) you would like to return
- Quantity of items you would like to return
- Return reason – Defective, Damaged, Wrong Item, etc.
- Condition of the products (opened or unopened)
We will reply to your request within one business day with a Return Authorization Number and instructions on where to ship your return. Please do not ship products to our Customer Service location. Instead, be sure to ship to the warehouse included with your RMA email.
When shipping returns to the warehouse it is our suggestion that you use a carrier providing proof of delivery.
We will not accept a return without an RMA.
Please allow up to 25 days for returns to be processed and credit issued. Why up to 25 days? Because we must wait for the product to arrive at one of our warehouses. They must not just receive it, they must check it in, make sure it’s in resalable condition, do the paperwork for the return. Then that information needs to be filtered back to our accounting department where they go throw normal accounting procedures and then return your payment. Simply put, we wish there were a faster and more efficient way to do this but given that, our warehouses process thousands of orders per day it’s just the way it’s got to be.
You pay for shipping when returning products. We will pay for return shipping only when products delivered are defective, damaged or the wrong product was received from what was ordered. Reports of damaged items, wrong items or defective items must be made within one week of receipt of shipment.
We accept returns for up to 30 days.
Any unopened item may be returned for credit (shipping is at the customer’s cost). All original packaging and contents must be included to receive credit for returned products.

Contacting us by email, please remember:
– If it’s about an order, include the order number from your email receipt (this is important, not from the packing slip but from your email receipt you received right after you ordered).
– If it’s about a quote, please include Manufacturers Part Numbers and not just titles. This matters because there are sometimes similar titles but different units of measurements (single vs. dozen, etc.)
Processing Refunds and Replacements
Your return will be processed once we receive and inspect the product. Replacements and refunds are normally processed within four business days. Refunds will be posted to your credit card or other payment method after processing your return. Please allow up to seven business days to receive replacement merchandise.
Canceling an Order
Due to our commitment to process orders quickly, once the checkout process is completed our distribution center is immediately notified to pick the order for shipment. If you place an order and need to cancel please be aware that it may have already shipped. Shipping Company cannot be recalled and orders, once on those trucks, will be delivered. We will try very hard to stop any shipment if we can because we believe in good customer service.
Any request to cancel an order must be made via email allowing us a written record of your request.
If your order has already shipped you will be responsible for all freight charges, or if you refuse shipment on UPS orders for the purposes of canceling an order you will not be credited back for the shipping charge.
Due to HON items being made to order, you cannot attempt to cancel your order once it has been submitted even if it has not been shipped.
